Robert E. Green Memorial Scholarship
Each year the church awards a scholarship of $1000 to a graduating high school senior planning to continue their education in the fall following their graduation. The scholarship honors the church’s former minister the Rev. Robert E. Green and is given on the basis of a student’s involvement in community service and contributions to the well-being of people, as well as academic achievement.
Social Justice Collections
On the third Sunday of each month, we donate our entire collection to a nonprofit organization whose work reflects the values and mission of the church. Recipients have included the Heifer Project, the Stockton/San Joaquin Emergency Food Bank, and the Women’s Center of San Joaquin County.
To suggest a recipient, please contact the president of our Board of Trustees.
Unitarian Universalist Alliance
Since 1914, the UU Alliance has sponsored social and educational events and served the church through fundraising and other service projects. The UU Alliance is affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation and is open to all church members.
